Louiza Papachristodoulou and Stjepan Picek joined the project as PhD students in September 1, 2013.
Louiza will start with metrics and higher order attacks while Stjepan focuses on parameters for fault injection.
About Louiza and Stjepan:
Louiza studied applied mathematical and physical sciences in National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) with specialization in the fields of combinatorial set theory and theoretical computer science. In 2008, she joined the Kerckhoffs Institute for Computer Security and she conducted her master thesis in the field of secure multi-party computations as an intern at Philips Research Eindhoven. Since 2010 she works as a cryptographer in Compumatica secure networks. Her research interests are in curve- and lattice-based cryptosystems.
Stjepan obtained his MSc degree with major in Automation and Mechatronics, Faculty of Engineering, University of Rijeka, Croatia in 2007. He started a part-time PhD study in the field of Computer Science, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Zagreb, Croatia in 2008. His areas of interest are cryptography and evolutionary computation. Currently, he is interested in combining cryptography with evolutionary computation methods. In addition to that, he worked for the last 6 years in the IT industry.
